Description: One of my standard swim training programs. Read that with regards to swim, intervals not only work on your stamina and recovery, but also aids in the proper training of my technique as well. 500m is quite a comfortable distance for intervals, but breathing still not very consistent so I'm kinda struggling with the last few laps, resulting in some terrible looking trashing around in the water.
I'm starting to get the hang of the so-called 'body rotation' that the pros talk about. Supposedly this reduces effort and increases the efficiency of each stroke - crucial in a triathlon. Also the head-facing-down is getting more natural to me. Am contemplating finding a coach or at least somebody more qualified to coach me on my technique, but just an idea I'm toying about. Coach = money = bad.
Some guy tried to race me on my last 4 laps! He kicked off the wall the exact moment I touched it and matched me stroke for stroke. Took up the challenge and pulled ahead at my last lap, resulting in a timing better then I expected for the last set. Heh...
Anyway, went to ARPC after that with BJ before having supper with the guys. Here are some pics..
Finally found a cool parking lots after searching for a few years.

Kenji presents his thesis on the health and medical benefits of teh-cino and how it cures throat infections. (then why aren't u getting any better?!)
BJ ponders the universal mysteries of Milo Dinosaur.
